Bootcamp is inspired by military training and is designed to push participants to their limits in a supportive and motivating environment. Bootcamp classes are 50 minutes long and involve challenging exercises and circuits. Classes incorporate calisthenics, weight training and resistance-based exercises.
Bootcamp focuses on building strength and endurance, and improving overall fitness. This class can effectively build muscle, improve cardiovascular function, as well as improve body composition.
HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) at Forte is a 30-minute workout that alternates short bursts of intense exercise with short recovery periods. It’s a time-efficient way to improve your overall fitness, burn calories and boost your metabolism. HIIT can be done with various equipment or bodyweight exercises and is suitable for all different fitness levels.
The goal in HIIT classes is to push your body to near-maximum effort during the working intervals and then allow for recovery with rest or low-intensity exercise. These classes can strengthen the heart, improve cardiovascular endurance, build strength, boost metabolism and aid in weight loss.
